[when the video flickers on, you get a lovely image of a Fuji smiling lightly into the camera. for those of you who actually know him well -- the number of which you can possibly count on one hand and still have plenty of fingers left over -- you'll see that he's just a tad more tired than usual. a bit weary. still entirely cheerful, though.
though it doesn't take someone who knows him well to notice the large, red, hand-sized imprint on the right side of his face.
he rubs at the print absently before addressing the camera cheerily.]
Well, I suppose that didn't work out all-too well. But it could've gone worse, all things considered. Maybe I should feel fairly lucky that she didn't end up aiming for anywhere else.
Ah-- I did have a point to this. [a wry glance off-camera here] Mm, for anyone in Goldenrod, would it be too much to ask if one of you kind, thoughtful Samaritan types could send over a riding saddle? [laughingly--] I'd also add in a riding crop to that request, but I think that might be a little too risqué at the moment.
You'll be compensated for your trouble, of course. It's a bit of a short notice, but I think this might help with the current situation. [and here, a thoughtful hum] I'm not sure if I feel up for a whole collection of these welts -- red's really not my colour, is it.
[a pause, here, distracted, and he laughs, a little.] But it's true that Cianwood is the land of the beaches and sunshine, huh. It's a shame that we can't stay here for a bit longer.
